Fever Pitch



According to Boston Red Sox super fan Ben Wrightman, finding romance is just as likely as his beloved team winning the World Series. But then Ben meets Lyndsey Meeks, and suddenly anything’s possible. Well… until Spring Training begins, and Lindsey sees Ben on ESPN in Florida acting like an idiot. But these games don’t count, and she knows that there may be trouble once the first pitch is thrown. But she seems fine about it, because as she competes for a promotion, she says Ben won’t be affected by her at work all the time. But things really get out of hand when Lyndsey gets hit by a line drive foul ball off of Baltimore Orioles’ Miguel Tejada, and the Sox begin to loose. The relationship picks up, but when Lyndsey gives Ben the opportunity to go to Paris with her, he turns it down, because Seattle’s rolling in and the Sox are 3 1/2 games behind New York and Ben says that they need him. Later, the Red Sox are in the ALCS against New York, and fall behind three games to none. Then, Ben decides to sell his Red Sox tickets to make Lyndsey happy and say that he loves her. She’s at Game 4, and Lindsey has to find a way to get him to stop selling his tickets, and can the Sox finally win it all?

The Piano



It is the mid-nineteenth century. Ada is a mute who has a young daughter, Flora. In an arranged marriage she leaves her native Scotland accompanied by her daughter and her beloved piano. Life in the rugged forests of New Zealand’s South Island is not all she may have imagined and nor is her relationship with her new husband Stewart. She suffers torment and loss when Stewart sells her piano to a neighbour, George. Ada learns from George that she may earn back her piano by giving him piano lessons, but only with certain other conditions attached. At first Ada despises George but slowly their relationship is transformed and this propels them into a dire situation.

Django



While walking through the desert dragging a coffin, the lonely Django rescues Maria from a group of bandits and arrives in a not-quite ghost town, where only the saloon and the brothel, owned by Nataniele, are open. Soon, Major Jackson, who charges protection fees from the dwellers, rounds his gang up to face Django, but he kills all the bandits but Jackson using a machine gun. Then a mercenary and acquaintance of Django, Gen. Hugo Rodriguez, arrives in town, and Django proposes a bold plan to steal the gold from Jackson and split between them. When Django is betrayed, he steals the gold from Hugo and is helped by Maria. They are chased by Hugo and his men, while Jackson organizes with the Mexican army to trap Hugo.

Mortal Kombat is an ancient tournament which takes place in a distance island, in which the out-world’s best warriors fights against Earth’s best warriors. If the out-world wins the tournament ten times in a row, it can enter Earth and rule it. The out-world won the nine previous tournaments, so only one victory is left, but is it about to win this one too? a group of mortal warriors, include Lui Kang, Johnny Cage, Sonya Blade and some more, in the leadership of the god Lord Rayden, face the out-world warriors.

Mortal Kombat: Annihilation



The evil Emperor Shao Kahn has broken the rules of the Mortal Kombat tournament and, with his generals Motaro, Sheeva, Ermac, and Sindel (former queen of Edenia, once a beautiful kingdom, now the ravaged outworld), engineers the merger of the Earth and Outworld realms, destroying life as man knows it. The destruction will take place in six days, unless Lord Rayden, Liu Kang, Princess Kitana, Sonya Blade, and their companions can thwart the Outworld squadrons.

Based on the 1981 Broadway musical comes Dreamgirls, a story of greed, tough hate, and romance. Three young women – Deena Jones, Effie White, and Lorrell Robinson – desire to become pop stars and get their wish when they’re picked to be backup singers for the legendary James “Thunder” Early. Then they’re set free for leads, but Curtis Taylor and Effie’s brother C.C. decide for Deena to be lead which upsets Effie.

Lovely & Amazing



The Marks family is a tightly-knit quartet of women. Jane is the affluent matriarch whose 3 daughters seem to have nothing in common except for a peculiar sort of idealism. Setting the tone of vanity and insecurity, Jane is undergoing cosmetic surgery to alter her figure, but serious complications put her health in real danger. Former homecoming queen Michelle, the eldest daughter, has one daughter of her own and an alienated, unsupportive husband. Elizabeth, the middle sister, has an acting career that is beginning to take off, but is timid and insecure, and habitually relieves her trepidation by taking in stray dogs. Only the youngest sister, Annie, an adopted African American 8-year-old, stands a chance of avoiding the family legacy of anxious self-absorption. If only her intelligence and curiosity will see her through what promises to be a confusing adolescence. Each of the women seeks redemption in her own haphazard way.

During her mission, Barbarella never finds herself in a situation where it isn’t possible to lose at least part of her already minimal dressing.

Private School



Christine (Phoebe Cates), a student at an exclusive all-girls private school, is in love with Jim, who attends an academy for boys nearby. Christine’s arch rival Jordan also has her eye on Jim, and she is willing to do whatever she can to steal him away. Jim’s uber-slob buddy Bubba is going with Betsy, Christine’s cynical friend, though he would probably be unfaithful if any other woman were willing to get near him. Bubba and his pals sneak into the girls’ school dressed in drag in hopes of reaching the Promised Land (better known as the women’s shower room), while Christine and Jim run away together for the weekend, though their escapade isn’t as romantic as they had hoped.
